Fairmont Private School of Fresno
About
History
Established in 1974 by Bill & Maxine Smith, Fairmont Private School of Fresno has been an educationally focused preschool in Fresno.
Fairmont Private School of Fresno was established in 1974 by a local family, Bill and Maxine Smith. Offering a developmental approach to education for Toddlers, Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten, and Kindergarten, we provide the foundation for lifelong learning, by maintaining experienced and professional educators that are trained in providing a child-focused curriculum.
The Fairmont campus, still located at 435 W. Fairmont Avenue, was designed and constructed as a preschool campus specializing in early childhood programs. Fairmont began its journey with one classroom and one teacher. Today, Fairmont’s program includes 10 classrooms, professional staff of educators, and is still family-owned and operated.
The facility has expanded its playground to include one acre of grass, mature trees, a garden area of seasonal vegetables and a chicken coop.
